Hi, good to have you here. I'm Simon, founder of AVE, and this is the story behind how it came to be.

When was the last time you really saw yourself? Not the way you function. Not the way you appear to others. But the way you are, with the beautiful sides and the ones you would rather hide.

AVE was born from a quiet moment, a moment with depth and emotion. From the realisation that we function before we arrive at ourselves. The name stands for a greeting, for pausing in passing. Vindica te tibi, give yourself back to yourself, is the thought that carries everything.

Seeing yourself honestly, knowing what you want and moving in that direction, takes courage and trust in yourself. AVE brings you closer to these sides, to accepting them and to bettering them. Not as a measure to hold yourself against, but as a quiet daily reminder to make small decisions in the right direction. To pull yourself out of difficult moments and notice that most things are more doable than they seem.

Because finding yourself is not a destination you reach. It is a path that stays with you for a lifetime, a path of growth and change.

AVE is my daily companion in seeing these sides of myself, respecting them and standing up for them. AVE greets your own self and shows you where your compass points.

FAQ

What fabric do you use?
We aim to use organic cotton wherever possible. The material composition of each product is listed on the product page.

Why do you use Latin on the products?
We uses Latin across AVE. In the name, the values and thoughts. Not as decoration. Latin carries meaning without noise. You do not need to understand it immediately. That patience is part of it.

Sizing & fit
All AVE pieces are unisex and run medium fit. Sizing follows European standards. If you are between sizes, choose one size up. Size charts are available where applicable.

How are AVE products made?
We don't look for the easiest option. We look for the best one available to us, and that changes as we grow. Right now, that means producers who can show us their supply chains and small batches over large runs. The details vary by product and are listed on each product page.

Where do you ship?
AVE is based in Switzerland and currently only ships to Switzerland.

How long does delivery take?
Standard: 3–5 business days — CHF 4.90, free for orders over CHF 80.
Express: 1–2 business days — CHF 7.00, free for orders over CHF 80.

Can I return an item?
You have 14 days from delivery to withdraw from your purchase, no reason required. Items must be unworn, unwashed and in original condition. Return shipping costs are at your expense. To start a return, email hello@ave-wear.ch with your order number. Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the return, using your original payment method.

What if my item is defective?
Contact us at hello@ave-wear.ch within 14 days of delivery with your order number, a description of the issue and photos. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost.
